It's been awhile since I've posted . . .

Wilco Show

Wilco played the Mayo Civic Center here in Rochester. I was shocked when I heard the announcement for the show, as Rochester doesn't attract a whole lot of interesting musical acts. Ended up shooting the show for the paper - first 3 songs only - and photo and story ran on page one. Yes, Rochester is not the most hip or happening of towns.

Campaign Fever

Had my first chance to photograph a presidential candidate last week. John McCain held a "town hall" meeting in La Crosse, Wis. - which is about 85 miles from Rochester. I had never photographed a presidential candidate before - or a president for that matter - so the experience was pretty interesting. Although, I did photograph the president of Finland . . .
I was surprised by the incredibly easy access. I didn't even have to show an id. It would have been quite easy to just chuck my camera at the man - not that I would have, of course! Although, then maybe I'd finally get a newer camera for work . . .

Seeing Double
